My Professional Bio – Occupational Therapy

My name is Uzoamaka Ezeude. I am a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy professional with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and comprehensive fieldwork experience across multiple practice settings. My academic training and hands-on clinical exposure have equipped me with a strong foundation in holistic, client-centered care and the ability to support individuals of all ages in achieving meaningful participation in their daily lives.

During my Level I and Level II fieldwork rotations, I worked in outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient hospital settings, and community wellness environments. Under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, I conducted assessments, developed occupation-focused treatment plans, facilitated therapeutic interventions, and collaborated closely with teams. These clinical experiences enhanced my skills in documentation, clinical reasoning, therapeutic communication, activity analysis, and goal-oriented intervention planning.

My professional interests include pediatric development, adolescent mental health, physical rehabilitation, assistive technology, and promoting independence for individuals with chronic conditions or disabilities. I am particularly passionate about serving underserved communities, developing countries, and using evidence-informed practice to address barriers that limit one’s quality of life and occupational engagement.

I approach every client interaction with empathy, patience, and a commitment to preserving dignity and independence.

I value interdisciplinary teamwork, respect diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and strive to ensure that every client feels understood, supported, and empowered.

I am committed to helping individuals live fuller, more functional, and purpose-driven lives.
